I have been using this for two months now. I purchased it because we have small dogs that like to sit on the couch, and I wanted a way to clean the couch more thoroughly/more often. I already own a full size carpet shampooer made by another company (which I won’t name here), and I love it so much that I decided to buy a small shampooer for little jobs. This product worked perfectly the first time. The second time also went well. Then, the quality quickly started to deplete. Now, I’ve used it about 15 times and I hate it. At the rate things are going I am expecting it to completely stop working soon. This is the first time I’ve ever felt it necessary to upload a video to show how the product actually functions. I use hot water but it comes out ice cold. If I want a steady stream of water while shampooing the back of my couch I have to hoist the shampooer onto my shoulder with one hand, and shampoo with the other. This is no easy feat. If I manage to hold the shampooer up on my shoulder, so that the hose angles downward, then I can get a relatively steady stream of water. In the video I posted it looks like the area should be sufficiently vacuumed, as the solution stops sucking up. However! In real life the fabric is still totally saturated. The dirty water chamber has very little water in it no madder how much I shampoo, or what I shampoo. I have used this on upholstery and carpet. I will say that the water is dirty though! So hopefully it’s working a little. All in all, I would suggest looking for a different brand. This was a very sad purchase.
