UPDATE: While as others point out, the "home" button may be a valid "exit" command, it's not that hard to put an explicit one in the game. But no matter -- the recent update added excessive permissions. Would drop to 0 stars if I could. Glad I didn't actually pay for this (was a FAOTD) and then have the permissions get ugly. Will probably end up deleting unless further updates return to reasonable permissions. Old: Network communication - Full Internet Access New: Read only access to phone state (1)Open network sockets Write to external storage Access information about Wi-Fi networks (2)Access the list of accounts in the Accounts Service Access information about networks PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming (3)com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE (1) This means it will ACCEPT incoming connections from the Internet. From who? When? For a game? Not on my phone. (2) Not giving a game access to my accounts - especially if it's accepting connections from outside -- who else might connect and get the info? (3) c2dm was deprecated last June. This app wasn't released on Amazon until August last year, but this permission didn't appear until the recent update. Poor/sloppy programming. ==== Not a bad game, but there's no way to exit. The standard android menu and back/undo buttons do nothing. Pressing home leaves the game, but it stays running in the background. I had to use a task killer to stop it. Fix this and get some stars back.
