When I'm picking out a book to read, I'll look at the title and read the back of the book to get an idea of what I like. After doing so with this book, I was excited to read about the little orphan girl who was experimented on and later faced with a tough decision. What I was not expecting was to read very graphic details of the love affair between too women. I came to the first point in the book where this was introduced and just read through it, "whatever," but the instances became increasingly frequent and graphic. If you're going to write like that, at least hint to it in the description of the book! It was not at all what I was expecting or wanting to read. I don't typically read romance of any kind and this was just soooo... Detailed... And didn't add anything to the plot. I never would have bought the book if the description was upfront about this bizarre, unrelated story line.
