Save your money. You can piece together a kit locally (and probably cheaper)
I purchased this after I bought my kayak because I thought this was some kind of special kit that had proprietary items to tote your kayak around. Wrong. All it is, is some nylon rope, some straps, and some foam. I have had this kit for about 2 months now and the only thing I use anymore is the foam, and thats because I feel obligated to use it since I bought it. Dear reader (and thank you for reading), I will help you save some time and money. Go to wal-mart or any department store. Find some ratchet straps anywhere from 12-20 feet long, depending on the size of your vehicle (>12' for 4 door sedans). Buy 20 feet of nylon rope. Buy a water noodle. Cut the water noodle in half and use that to set your kayak on. Strap the kayak down with ratchet straps (holds much more secure than the straps that come in the box), tie it down with the rope. This kit was designed for suckers like me who don't think enough to realize that you can easily make your own kit for cheaper, and you dont have to wait for it to arrive in the mail.
