I liked the Lexy Baker series so I thought I'd try another by the same author. Big mistake! I kept sending in corrections for grammatical errors, multiple word usage too close together, misuse of commas and semi-colons, plurals written as possessives, some possessives not written at all, and more. Each error took me out of the story, yet I really wanted to finish the book. However, by Chapter Seven, when very little had happened except a lot of mistakes, I finally cried "Uncle!" and filed it in my Duds folder. I couldn't buy into the characters, they all seemed silly and immature. Not a good effort. Please, Leighann - hire a good editor!
