Product received in good condition ready to use out of the package with the exception of installing the saw blade. First attempt to lop a small mulberry limb resulted in the rope snapping towards the upper portion. Restrung the rope and made several flawless lops before the rope broke again this time towards the lower portion. A few more cuts in and then the rope pulled through the handle due to too small of a knot. Retied the knot with no further rope incidents. Several hours of lopping with clean cuts was great until the middle aluminum extension slightly bowed. Was able to continue using until a limb fell on the upper third extension completely crumpling the thin pole. I would only recommend this product for very light duty twig trimming.
