Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read a bunch of reviews before making this purchase and I'm scratching my head after having opened this item. Two words, "Fisher Price". For those of you who do not know what that means, search it. I believe they are a TOY manufacturer. This surround sound system, if you could even call it that, is a toy. The speakers have no mounting holes or attachments, the flimsy "speaker wire" comes out of a tiny hole in the back of each speaker, so it's not even removable to add REAL speaker wire, and they are made of what looks like press wood. I purchased the item used to see if the reviews could possibly be accurate and to save a few dollars. Not only was this a waste of my time and money, they did not even have the courtesy to CLEAN the thing up first before shipping it out to a new customer. It was disgusting, with dust and what looked like food finger prints all over it. (that one is on Amazon, not the person who returned it, although, I can't imagine how someone could return something in such condition and be okay with it. I guess some people just don't care and have no shame). And, then we have the condition the item is in,... Scratches, on some of the speaker cones, corners mashed in like it was dropped, and corner seems that look like they were glued together by someone who had their eyes closed while doing so. The wires were wound around each speaker carelessly and stuffed back in the original damaged box with the crumbling styrofoam and bits of it stuck to the speakers. And then there is the sound quality... After having attempted to place the speaker far enough away in the proper locations for a true surround sound, I had to climb over the wires that were like a boobytrap across my living room because they are so short, plugged everything in and turned it on. There was not much of a difference from the TV speakers to the "surround sound" system. Weak. Waste of time and money. Suffice it to say, I will be returning this horrible device after having thoroughly cleaned it, (you're welcome Amazon), and I think my days of shopping for this type of device on Amazon are over. On to Costco... Disgusted.
