I bought this HP laptop in early April 2021 (on Amazon). In early October 2021 already, it wouldn't charge anymore. HP remote support connected to my laptop and swore it was adaptor (which I had my doubts and was correct, after having to wait for them to ship it to me to boot). I had to then negotiate/hem/holler to allow me to go to my local Micro Center for in-person 3rd party approved warranty service (as opposed to their next step of shipping it to a facility in Texas and me hoping to ever see my laptop ever again). During that process, HP recommended (IMHO probably because this was the 2nd cheapest option for HP) to ship Micro Center a connector part that connects external power supply to internal power source (so another wait for shipment) - that didn't work either! Micro Center (which is AWESOME btw if you happen to have one near where you are) correctly diagnosed it was the motherboard itself that was faulty. HP promised to ship it "right away" but then changed date on Micro Center to December 2021 through sometime in Qtr. 1 2022. Micro Center then helped me negotiate with HP to get most of my money back from HP. Eventhough laptop still under 1st year new purchase warranty, HP refused to replace with a completely new alternative laptop or refused to give me full refund. I'll never purchase an HP laptop ever again !!! HP should be completely ashamed. HP = Horrible People !!!
