I have always loved John Grisham’s books, especially the legal ones. But, the one was WAY boring. I am not a basketball fan, and found myself skipping pages and pages of the description of the games. It was like hearing them on radio.... each dribble, each attempted shot, etc. way, way past boring. Make no mistake, this is a novel about basketball games and the nuances of play. There is a back story (that should be the main story) and a very little story about relationships. But there is no depth to the characters. The whole writing was skimming the surface, except for the basketball games. I am so very disappointed.
