First let me say, I really liked these ear buds. For ear buds, the sound quality was excellent. I didn't think I'd like bud fit when I first saw it. But tried it and found it to be comfortable and unlike some buds that fall out of your ears, these stayed in place. The length of the cord is nice, as well as being of great quality (heavier than most). But I really liked the connector, far superior to other brands I have purchased. That all being said, I'm very disappointed in longevity (okay, not longevity, considering I've only had them 6 days and they are now not working). And why are they not working? Not because I wound them around my ipod/tablet and crammed them into an overstuffed backpack, they never even left my house. The few days I had them, they were unplugged at the end of day and hung from a hook, because my last pair broke at the connector due to winding. They broke because I used the inline remote. I didn't even purchase for the remote, just wanted a good quality set, but I tried it out after a couple days thinking it might be convenient. Not very convenient now, only way the buds work now is, if you hold down one of the buttons on the remote. Not just depress and let go, no- I mean continuously hold down a button. There is some sort of short in the remote. I don't know if others have experienced this or I got the random dud, but I'm not happy. If you need the in-line remote look elsewhere or get a warranty maybe. The hunt for new ear buds continues for me, I hope my review is helpful to someone else.
