Unbelievably invasive software; I returned it
Does it work? Technically, yes. It does turn one USB 3.0 port into two HDMI ports. In order to do so, however, you must install their driver software which is bloated, invasive, and generally crummy. It not only installs KERNEL LEVEL PRIVILEGES (are you kidding me?!), but it stab-murders your native graphics card's controls. ALL of them. Color controls: GONE; custom resolutions: GONE; timing control: GONE. Oh, and do you want to uninstall it? Prepare for a full OS clean install, because it sets permissions that disallow a regular old system restore from deleting it. Now, why on earth would a little dongle need to do that, exactly? I can't think of a single good reason for it. And I am definitely not going to just leave software with those permissions just floating around my machine - how do I know for sure it didn't grant itself permission to something else while it was at it? I don't. And THAT is completely unacceptable.
