Product past shelf life
Although within a month of the "sell-by" date added to the container by the seller, this product was stale and virtually tasteless. I have been cooking with Valrhona cocoa powder for at least 2 years and have purchased numerous cans of the cocoa. If fresh, the product is a dark rich brown, almost black in color. The product I received this time looked to be the color of cocoa powder mixed half-and-half with cream; it was a very pale biege, clearly well past it's usable shelf life. I will not buy from this seller again.
