This 64 oz Horbaach Sweet Almond Oil seemed like a great value. I’m unsure of the quality because I haven’t even used it yet, I may be returning it. The viscosity of the oil is very thin, compared to similar products I have purchased. The color and odor seem appropriate. The bottle was packaged well, inside a thick clear plastic bag, inside the Amazon box with other items. Upon opening the product I removed what I thought to be an outer seal, which in fact was white electrical tape. (No big deal I send essential oils out with tape around them to ensure it doesn’t leak). However after removing the cap, the inner seal was not intact, perhaps holding on by about 1/4 the edge. It was not sealed in any manner and appeared to have no adhesive residue on it at all, the rest actually just fell off. This is what made me question my purchase! How long has the seal been broken? Then I got some oil on my fingers and noticed how thin it felt. Not the consistency I felt was right, so I brought out another brand sweet almond oil (comparable) and did side by side look, feel, smell, and even taste comparison. This Horbaach is definitely NOT the viscosity or consistency of other sweet almond oils I have used! I’m not going to use any until I speak with customer service!
