I was sold by the fact that this collection was hand-made in the US. The design is lovely, the plates themselves are very nice but these items are made in China, which for me detracts from the the whole idea of buying local, supporting an artist and enjoying something hand made. I do think there is some trickery in the advertising and marketing of these products, which is disappointing, so I wanted to help be clear about what you’re really getting. They are still nice plates, just not a potter’s personal creation.
