I'm assuming if you are reading this review you are an individual like myself, who is sick and tired of getting mauled my mosquitos every time you go outside. If my assumption is correct, do not buy this product!!! I was actually excited about getting this bug zapper, kind of lame I know but I really wanted to enjoy my back yard. So it arrives on a Friday afternoon, prefect I think. I'm going to get in touch with my inner redneck. Light up the grill, drink some beer, listen to the sizzle of bugs while my family splashes around in the pool. Heck, I'll even pull out all the stops we'll eat outside. So I open the box and this item was covered in dust. First I'm think used?? But I see no evidence of bugs, so I think well maybe it was in dusty warehouse. So I go outside put up a metal holder drag out the an extension cord and stick on the mosquito attractant. Walk back to the patio, pop open a beer and get ready for the glorious sounds of the blood suckers meeting their death. Plug it in and nothing, no humming of a bug zapper, no light, and certainly no sizzle. As I go to inspect the machine the blood beast start signaling their flying family that fresh meat has entered the backyard. As I'm batting my legs trying to get this contraption to work, I swear I could hear the mosquitos laughing. I'll be sending this back on Monday to get a refund. Worry not fellow mosquito haters, I will visit the local hardware store to attempt fry my pesky backyard vampires.
