Purchased this phone system ASSUMING it would have a voicemail message recording option (i mean, who would think a phone with built in alexa wouldn't....) and am very disappointed to say that the only way to receive voicemail messages is to have a voicemail subscription service with your phone provider. Even my previous $30 VTECH phones had an option to record an answering machine message.... that's crazy. Also no option to have it disconnect after a certain amount of rings, so the phone will ring non stop until the caller decides to hang up. Major drawbacks here, will be going with a different system
