This is a great 6 month dehumidifier. I have yet to find a dehumidifier that will last more than 1 year. The Ivation was replaced by the manufacturer warranty 6 months after I received it and cost me $50 to send it back to them. Almost to the day the second one started having the exact same problem - freezing up. From my research on the internet this is caused by a loss of coolant. Thankfully I purchased the extended 3 year warranty based on my experience with other products. Great product, poor reliability. Update: June 29 2018 - I'm changing my review to 5 stars as the Ivation company contacted me concerning my experience with this product based on my review and they expedited an identical new replacement that is working great. As I said this thing really pulls some moisture out of the air - impressive. Kudo's to Tom at DBRoth. Update January 1 2019 - I'm changing my review back to 1 star as exactly 6 months after Ivation replaced this dehumidfier at no cost it is freezing up again. While it works this is a great product but it needs to last more than 6 months!!
