How come there is not an option of ZERO stars? Wow... What can I say... Bought the latest version because our 2015 one was coming up with an unrecoverable error when trying to write checks. We were told by QB support that we needed to update to the 2018 version in order to get support. So we did. Same error was coming up on the 2018 version. Called QB support yesterday. Spoke to level 1 support for 2 hours, level 2 support for another 1.5 hours. They could not fix the issue. Oh! and they require that you sit on the phone at all times, while they work on your computer for 3.5 hours! Today we called again, hoping to reach a more qualified support person. After 4 hours and 15 min with another level 2 support, they still could not fix it. The issue, according to them, is that QB is not compatible with the latest version of Windows. So instead of improving their product to make sure it is up to date and compatible with the latest version of Windows, they are asking us to downgrade our version. What a joke. Now they want our IT person to call them because they are not "capable" of making the changes themselves and are worried that if they try, it may risk damaging other files on our computer. Conclusion: After spending $220 for the newest version of QB and almost 8 hours on the phone with their support, we are still going to have to pay our IT person to call them (per their request) because of their crappy product and lack of capable support team. If you have other options, AVOID this software!
