These balls were great - for a time. Unfortunately, because of their size and “slippery” feel, we had an incident with our dog. He caught a ball and it immediately lodged in his throat. It was a terrifying and traumatic experience that ended with one broken hand, three adults with bloodied up hands/fingers from prying his jaw open, two screaming children, and one dog who fortunately passed out and we were finally able to pry the ball loose. My hand and arm were just small enough that I could sort of grasp the ball to create small pockets of air for him to take a struggling breath. The ball was too slippery for us to be able to get a good grip to pull out until his throat muscles relaxed (when he passed out). Luckily, he survived without any permanent damage. At the time, we were convinced we were watching him die in front of our eyes. I wouldn’t recommend these balls for this reason.
