After about 8 or 9 months of very light usage, this iron stopped getting hot enough to do anything. It's max temp has become 137 degrees Fahrenheit. It was still within in the 1-year warranty period, so I sent it back to Panasonic for repair. Today Panasonic returned it to me unrepaired, with the written comment that I bought it from a "non authorized dealer." I bought it from Zebra Deals through Amazon. Do NOT buy this from Zebra Deals (or probably any third-party seller) if you want a Panasonic warranty that you can count on.
