Pets N Bags used to have the best poop bags. I never thought that I would be leaving a review for for something as simple as poop bags, but they recently changed their manufacturer and literally everything about their product has changed to the point where the bags are actual garbage. You get enough poop on your hands and shoes and suddenly this becomes something worth writing a review about. The entire product is different from what they used to produce. Everything about their bags used to be great, but that all changed. Instead of the quality cardboard box you can use to store the remaining rolls, the new box is poorly constructed out of blank standard shipping cardboard, and falls apart. Instead of the quality green dispenser, the new one is made out of cheap and brittle clear plastic that cracks when you put even a small amount of pressure on it. The bags themselves are the biggest problem. The used to be perfectly sized and very thin, but had just enough stretch so that you don't have to worry about them breaking when you scratch pavement or sticks. Now the new bags are small and brittle. The have no stretch at all, so they break at the slightest touch, causing poop to get on your hands. The seams are poorly done, so they fail randomly causing poo to fly out while you walk. Despite being thicker and therefore holding fewer bags per roll, the material isn't strong enough to hold up when tearing at the perforations. You used to be able to casually tear off a bag when you needed one, but with the new material you have to meticulously break away the perforation, otherwise you will break the seam at the bottom and ten steps later find a giant ball of poop on your shoes. This is easily the single most blatant instance I have ever seen of a company dropping quality in order to save a few bucks. It is absolutely unacceptable, and they have forever lost me as a customer because of it. Hopefully they get their act together and go back to their original quality.
