There is no protection provided with this mask. Indeed the mask is very soft and comfortable, but it has a very thin cloth/material that doesn't do anything to protect the wearer from any germs in the air. One thing to check if a mask will protect you from germs is if you can't feel the air blown through the mask, but if so, that means you are still breathing the germs in the air (COVID-19). Please do not buy this product unless you are thinking to wear two to actually do the job.
