Crystal Clear, But the End is Near
These phones definitely provide a loud, clear audible signal at the earpiece. The problem is, they just don't last very long, maybe a couple years at most. I've either purchased or helped set up several for older relatives who are hearing-challenged, and one only lasted about six months. The batteries also seem to have a fairly short life, but the phones themselves just conk out sooner rather than later. Out of seven Clarity phones I've put into service over the last two and a half years, all have now been replaced with sets of another brand. Also, be aware that the hand units are covered in buttons and controls, which can overwhelm certain fumble-fingered seniors, causing sudden random beeps and expletives during a given phone conversation. Yeah, it's funny for a while, but then it just gets annoying for everyone involved.
