I bought this book to explore its potential use with my history students. I believe in teaching history from a broad and fair perspective including telling all sides of the story. This, however, is not history. It's anti-America propaganda. I am not familiar with Howard Zinn's overall agenda in writing this book, but it wasn't historical. It, sadly, used history as the vehicle for a much more sinister goal. I finished the book, so as to give it a fair assessment, and then it promptly went into my recycling bin.
