Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

This is Brandon's wife (just so you know its a female review =) I really wanted to give it the long-term use before reviewing and I just used the last of my first bottle and here are my thoughts. First I have to say that I live in Midland, TX where the water its very hard and damaging. We have a soft water system to help but its still challenging getting healthy hair. I also have medium length hair and its fairly think. After reading the reviews I was really hopeful about this products but several things happened that makes me give this 2 stars at this point. First, what isn't pictured is the fact that there is this big advertising on the bottle and box that free products are given when positive reviews are left. I also ordered the hydrate shampoo from this company and the same things were on that box (I also give that shampoo 2 stars). This me feel kinda duped that all these reviews are just for the free product review but still I'm thinking not that many people would say they loved it if they really didn't, right?! so I was still hopeful. My second concern was that the product doesn't distribute very well at all. Kind of had this strange feel to it and would take forever to try and smooth throughout my hair. Lastly, I never got the results seen in other peoples success pictures. It was clean, but still super hard to brush through even with a wet brush. I even noticed some breakage in the front of my hair the last few times I blow dried it out. Not sure if that's related but never had it before so I'm going to say quite possibly. I will say it smelt nice but that's about as far as the compliments go. So for the price of this product, I think I'd rather buy the 33oz bottle of herbal essence or something instead of ordering this again. Needless to say, Maple Holisitcs can keep their free bottle(s) I just wasn't impressed.
