Well I'm sending it back. We gave it a week to see if it would work out but it just won't do it's job. This was so close to the perfect vacuum but a major engineering flaw doomed this bot. The bin empties from 2 small ports on the bottom of the robot. If the bin get filled with fur it pulls on it from both ends so it just stays put in the middle. We had it work everyday for a week and had to manually empty the dust bin 5 out of 7 days. Deal breaker. Pros: -Good lidar mapping. It had a pretty good map of the house after the first go, and it only got better as time went on. -Feels like it does clean the carpet well. Carpet looks clean and it leaves awesome patterns in the carpet so it feels like your walking on a freshly cleaned carpet every time you get home. -App is easy to use and full of cool features. -Good suction on the high power mode Meh: -Object avoidance is hit or miss. (It ran over cables and a t shirt 3 out of 7 days and had to be rescued) -Mopping feature is more of a gimmick than useful feature. It puts no pressure down on the mop head and just skims it along the floor. Cons: -IT WON'T SELF EMPTY PET HAIR. This is a total deal breaker and I feel the result of a bone head design flaw. -If you have mostly carpets you ned to go into the app and turn off the suction boost feature. This turn the motor on high when it detects its on carpet. The problem here is the battery only lasts about 20 min on high and because it moves so slow it needs to return to charge FREQUENTLY and that brings us to the next problem: -Battery life and charging. It takes FOREVER to charge its a 3200mha non replaceable battery. So with default settings it cleans carpets for 20 min, charges for 4 hours, cleans for 20 min charge for 4 hours, etc. It could not finish a 2600 sq.ft house in 24 hours -It's slow. It feels like its crawling on medium pile carpet. -The app wont let you split some rooms. our living room and kitchen flow into one another and the app wont let me split this room. Its a known bug but it sound like it has been around for a while. So so so close to being one of the greats. I sincerely hope your next model has improvements learned from this failure, if these problems were fixed I would give the next one a shot.
