Why spend $$$???
As a locksmith, I can tell you yes this will work in most cases. But if you want to destroy someone's lock, just take a wooden toothpick, and stick it in the lock, and break it off. Done deal... If you want to be a hero, use a piece of spaghetti, and break it off in the lock. Then, spray some wd-40 in the lock and give it 10 min. The wd-40 will turn the spaghetti to mush and your key will work again...
