This product WILL NOT WORK without being paired to your bluetooth AND location data on with their proprietary app. The app asks for too many intrusive permissions and tracks and sells your data. Additionally, the scale wont pair with my phone even after doing all the troubleshooting in the manual, so now i have bought a scale that wont weigh me, installed an intrusive app, AND created an account JUST SO I COULD WEIGH MYSELF, and i cant even do that after jumping through all these hoops. Do yourself a favor and buy a different scale, maybe one that will actually weigh you.
