I purchased this speaker to use on my bicycle handebar while bike commuting with the hope that it would be more waterproof than the competition. The audio quality and waterproofness seem to be great but wow, the strap design is TERRIBLE. I ask, what is the point of a nice $100 speaker if its rolling under the tire of a dump truck? Luckily every time this thing fell off my handlebars I was able to retrieve it before it was run over but the hook piece embedded in the silicone strap eventually failed. I assumed that since this device is only 7 months old that it would be covered under warranty but NOPE, apparently Bose doesn't stand by their design. I won't be purchasing a Bose speaker ever again and I would advise to to avoid this product until they come up with a better design for securing the speaker to your bike.
