I bought this unit based on reviews and previous FoodSaver unit I owned. Unit worked great the first couple of times I used it. After that, it would vacuum but not seal unless I pushed down on the lid also. I tried wetting the seal, different bags, etc. Now it will not seal no matter what. Return window closed a month ago... ***UPDATE - contacted FoodSaver and they are sending me a new one. Hopefully it will work better.
