This scale is stupid. It cannot function without the app. Cannot even change the units setting on its own. It becomes a dumb scale. And the app is ridiculous. It requires you to register with email, requires name and birthday etc. And granting permission to track location on your phone is a must. That's where I stopped, uninstalled the app, and hit the return button on Amazon. Good luck with everything.
