NOT the toy remember playing when you were young
Bought this as a gift for my daughter thinking it would be as much fun as the one I had when I was little kid. She picked it out first from her gifts. As soon as I started to take it out I started to worry, it did not seem like the papers were going to fit very well and when I put in the batteries it became clear that there was not going to be sufficient lighting. This is one of those products that a brilliant marketer and the supply chain VP decided it would work great with 90% less lighting and the cheapest plastic they could find. As you try to push the pegs in it seems like you will break the toy. Once they are in, unless you go into a dark closet you can't tell anything is happening. After the first design realizing that nothing happened the kids never touched it again. I tried to put the pegs in the slot and put it back in the original box, guess what it does not fit. Nice save 4 cents on the box now the toy will be useless as all the pieces will get lost. I set it on the shelf as it was intended by the manufacturer to be put away ended up playing pick up the pegs, which the kids actually enjoyed more than playing with the game. I put it in the trash as I would be embarrassed to give it away. THIS IS NOT THE TOY YOU REMEMBER FROM YOUR YOUTH. It is worthless. I am sure they will soon come out with the "classic" version for triple the price, it will be worth it for the memories and so you can have a game you can actually use. I will think hard before I buy again any toy from this company.
