Please don’t buy this product. It will kick you out of ketosis and cause extreme stomach discomfort. When I saw that there was a product similar to Lakanto which was only 1/3rd the price I decided I should try it since I love Lakanto’s monkfruit and erythritol blend for baking. It had no reviews so I figured that was the reason for the low price. $10 for 4lbs? That’s an amazing deal if it works the same way as Lakanto. Bought one for myself and one for a friend who uses a lot of sweetener too. Within 3 days of us making cheesecakes with this sweetener we both put 5lbs of water weight back on and it was a rough 3 days in the bathroom. This product is not just monkfruit and erythritol it must contain something else who knows maybe sorbitol or maltitol those are both hard on your GI tract and both will effect blood sugar. If this product contained only the ingredients it lists then my friend and I would still be in ketosis right now. I know exactly how it feels to be kicked out of ketosis I’ve been on the diet over a year and a half and so has my friend. We have used a wide variety of sweeteners and brands as I am an experienced keto baker and never had this problem. All that aside, this sweetener is probably only half as sweet as table sugar. It required a ton to get the same flavor as I would normally get with Lakanto which is closer to a 1:1 ratio. There was no after taste though that is the single positive quality I could say it has. This is cheap for a reason. It will mess with your blood sugar and it’s very weak so you have to use a ridiculous amount and then you end up ruining your weekend stuck in the bathroom and tired because you’re not in ketosis anymore. I only gave 1 star because I had to put something.
