I purchased this due to the fact it had the pick ax feature other items lacked and by the description and other reviews i took the leap. To start off the box came with no instructions but i was able to figure out how to adjust it and go from ax to shovel. So at first glance it looks pretty solid, but i give it a test and dig out a small hole in my backyard. Everything was secure and while using both the shovel and pick ax interchangeably, the pick ax bent in half and eventually broke off. The shovel also bent out of place and it affects the handle adjustment causes it to come loose. I wouldn’t trust this is an emergency situation after using it 1 time. It belongs in the gardening section to say the least.
