I was looking forward to this. These looked the part, quality construction, and packaging. That is where the good things stopped. They advertise this as two things which are very important to me. Dimmable and 3000k. 3000k or lower gives a nice warm Edison type glow. These are not 3000k or under. They seem much more "daylight" or 5000k to my eyes. Just to make sure I took an LED out that was 3000k (warm white) and what a difference. Honestly, they need to be lower than 3000k but these are not even close. Even WORSE, these lights are not dimmable. Not by any dimmer I have found and the one build by the same company and typically ordered with this item does not dim. Not unless you are talking about 1 abrupt dimmer stage and then off. It does NOT gradually dim or have anything in between FULL ON then flickering dim (annoying) then off. There are fewer bulbs per ft which also makes this a losing choice. UPDATE >> These lights are dimmable but ONLY if you are pulling a certain amount of wattage more than the 15 bulbs that come in the pack. I hated the color of these LED's and the fact that they would not dim. I got replacement bulbs (standard Edison bulbs) which pull more wattage. Upon putting one bulb (which pulls almost as much as the other 15 in total) into the system, now the dimming function works for the LED's. I have seen this happen before where you need a certain amount of "Draw" before they can sense or work. So... out of the box, the smaller 15 bulb system does not dim. But if you are using a longer chain (maybe) or swap one bulb out for a regular bulb this will dim succesfully. It would be perfect if the LED's were 2700k and not daylight.
