This product is just cheaply made. The outer packaging of the box seemed fine and undamaged. However, the bar used to rotate the slats opened and closed did not work. Upon further inspection (and much effort) I was able to correct the misalignment causing the problem and save myself the hassle of a return. The shipment took a long time to get here and I didn't want to wait another 2 weeks. Finally, we installed the blinds and noticed that they were noticeably shorter in width than the blinds I replaced. I thought that I had measured incorrectly but that was not the case. The old blinds measured 46 inches and these measure 45.5 inches. It is a small difference, but large enough to cause the blinds to shift and fall out of the brackets attached to my windows. It was such a hassle and arrived via the slowest snail mail possible. I don't think I could be any unhappier with the product.
