Our German Shepard is an active chewer and has regular vet visits. They have nothing but positive things to say about his oral health. He had this bone for 2 minutes, because I am hesitant of any toy he gets I check the durability of everything right away. It had already cut his gums and drew blood, the tiny part of the bone he had chewed immediately has razor sharp edges. This has NEVER happened before. I will NEVER buy a Nylabone product again. It took a matter of minutes to cause damage to his gums. I don't often leave negative reviews, but I think it's so important for animal owners to know what they're really giving their pets. I'm just happy I looked before letting him have it all day.
