Mine was OK for 6 months. I used it perhaps 20 times. It didn't always build pressure, and you had to remove the lid and jiggle things, then try again. When it worked, it was awesome. Yesterday it caught fire. It was plugged in, but not in use at the time. In a very short period of time, the control panel was on fire and the blaze was about a foot high. Fortunately, we were home and near the pressure cooker and were able to smother it before it grew and ignited our cabinets. Our house would have been burned down by this pressure cooker. This is a dangerous and poorly designed appliance. Please avoid it.
