As others have said, the only good thing about this litter is that the box is lightweight. Other than that, it couldn't get any worse. I foster individual cats on a rotating basis for the Humane Society, so I have experienced the full range of litters and bathroom habits. My current foster is an older lady (10) long haired grey, who I've had for several months. A few weeks ago I was running out of litter and saw Tidy Cats Lightweight at Sam's Club, so decided to give it a try. I so regret that decision. The clouds of dust that rolled out of the box when I was filling it up should have given me a clue. The horrible mats in my poor foster cat's paws should have been a warning flag. But it took her coming down with strange upper respiratory infection symptoms and then spraying blood all over the floor of her room for me to realize what was wrong. This litter made her sick! The dust made it seem like she had a cold. Then she ingested some of the litter while trying desperately to get it out from between her toes, and it tore up her tummy. I was horrified. Originally the vet thought her bloody symptoms might have been due to an infection, but her tests came back clean. Then it dawned on me that it was all the litter. I mentioned that to the vets and they agreed. So now this poor girl is even more delayed in finding her forever home. She came to stay with me to lose some weight, get mobility back in her joints and take a break from the shelter. But now she needs more time to recover from what this litter did to her. I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but I had to share my experience and warn others of the dangers of this product!!
