I bought this without knowing that dogs actually hate deodorant. I don't know why I didn't research it ahead of time, but after I got this product, I sprayed it on my puppy (away from her eyes, and very carefully), but she hated it so much and was rubbing her body all over the floor to get rid of it. My vet informed me that while deodorants are good for humans since it smells better for us, the smell is actually overpowering for dogs, particularly puppies who are still getting used to new scents and sights. I don't like the idea of causing my puppy stress, so I've stopped using it altogether after the first few times. It doesn't even smell that great to begin with!
