I usually really enjoy courtroom books. I have read over a thousand books in my lifetime and quit only one before I finished because it was do bad. I almost quit reading this one. Too predictable. I had almost everything figured out before I was halfway through. Some rather immature writing. The main lawyer character comments "ick" at one point. And finally, I read fiction for enjoyment; not for a political education. The author probably mentioned "the current administration" in a critical way at least ten times. Of course, when someone reads this book ten years from now they won't understand what he's talking about.
