A former roommate had an older model of this vaccum and it was amazing, which is why I bought this one. But this is a huge disappointment It does what it's supposed to as far as suction goes, but overall the design is faulty and I regret this purchase. Let's start with the rewind feature: It is very appealing to be able to hit a button and the cord suck right back in, but the cord is in such an awkward place on this model. It's on the lower right, so you have to keep picking it up as you vaccum or else you run over the cord. When you hit the cord rewind button you need to keep wiggling the cord around multiple times to get it to actually rewind. The attachments: I have 2 cats, so having attachments for fur is a bonus if they actually work. The hose is super short, so when you try to reach into a corner with it, the whole thing tips over. The brush and the rotating fur attachment are useless there is no suction with the brush on and the fur eraser stops spinning as soon as you touch it to fabric. I also should mention that the attachments don't stay on as you vaccum. One by one they all drop to the floor. This did not happen on my former roommates pet rewind.
