LC CLEANING HACK: Get denture cleaning powder and a copper cleaning cloth. I bought a LC Dutch oven at a thrift store that was, I'm sure, donated because the stains were so dark and caked on and the outside had baked on grease stains and the pot looked pretty well trashed but all the enamel was still intact so I bought it. I used a copper cleaning cloth and it cleaned off the outside baked on exterior grease without scratching and left it shiny clean like new but the interior stains didn't budge. So I tried this LC Cleaner with disappointing results. Bar Keepers Friend worked better. But Bar Keepers Friend doesn't work nearly as well as denture powder! Save yourself a small fortune and go buy extra-strength denture cleaning powder and mix the powder with water according to package directions (or even a little stronger) and leave it to soak overnight or longer if necessary. It removes years' worth of stains and leaves the enamel shiny. I'm sorry I didn't take before and after photos. Go ahead and gamble $6 on denture powder (which is made to safely clean enamel without leaving toxic chemical residue). You won't be disappointed.
