I like historical fiction and I am an art historian, but this book was just ridiculous. I did not believe, for a moment, that these were Picasso's experiences, thoughts or feelings. It was just a huge cliche, with some facts thrown in for good measure. This is the second or third "free" book I have ordered on my Kindle - and as the adage goes, "you get what you pay for." If you are really interested in Picasso, there are a wealth of art history books...and even other fictional accounts - that are so much better.
