This canister does nothing. There is no means to removed air from it, so it's no better than the container coffee beans are sold in. If you make coffee frequently, and therefore open the lid frequently, the CO2 valve won't be doing anything for you. This is a standardized product as some other reviewers have noted. You can get the same thing for half the price. I don't even recommend doing that. Get a vacuum container with a proper hinged lid. The hinge on this is a joke. Yet another bad product on Amazon that has propelled their ratings with ad money.
