this is poorly made. very cheap and flimsy. the power supply is not adequate to run the device and power the hard drive. so half the time the hard drive is never even recognized by the computer. tried it on 3 different machines and with 3 different drives. none of them worked reliably. machines would barely ever recognize the drives. and if you bump it it would drop out and lose the drive recognition. called customer support and they were very rude and dismissive. this product is junk and so is the company. run in the other direction and do not waste currency on this item.
