My wife and I ordered this vacuum in February 2018. Three months later and the pet tool does not function. The belt is fine, the pet tool receives no power and the brush does not move, suction only. If you do not set the upright hose and wand directly next to the canister, the weight of the hose causes the wand to fall over, banging your walls and or wood floor. As an added bonus, when you pull the canister behind you on carpet it frequently flips on its top, causing the "pop-up" floor tool to "pop-out" on to the floor. We had a similar Kenmore canister that was years old and worked fine. Sadly, this is what Kenmore has become.
