I am writing this review about 4 months into using this bowl for my dogs. I clean it regularly, and today when cleaning it I was wiping around the rim of the bowl and noticed that something black was coming off on the paper towel from underneath the rim of the bowl. I turned the bowl upside down and it looks like there’s some sort of black rust or film that the metal is starting to create. I am absolutely uncomfortable knowing that this possibly made its way into my dogs water or mouth. I will be throwing this bowl away. Yikes!
