Microwaved soup for 2 minutes and the glass shattered scaring the crap out of me as soup poured out of the microwave onto the stove. It seemed to have cracked around the line of where the soup line was. I'm not sure why it cracked but it seems that other reviewers have also had this problem. I bought it based on the Pyrex name hoping that they would be somewhat durable. I would not recommend these at all. It's better to buy an inexpensive plastic set that won't break.
