Buyer beware: Spider mite infested!
As other reviewers have noted, the metal frame that holds the dried sphagnum moss rusts very badly. It makes no sense to use a material that will damage as soon as it's wet as the pole is advertised for holding moisture.
However, the main problem with the two moss poles I purchased is that they came with spider mites. While it's impossible for me to 100% prove my claim, I found spider mites on both of the plants in whose planters I placed the moss poles. Both of these plants are located on different floors of my house and no other plants (yet) have spider mite symptoms. Within a few days of installing the moss poles I observed the tell-tale spider mite webbing and with a closer look saw mites crawling around.
There must be a problem with how they are growing, harvesting, or storing their moss. Beware that this manufacturer/seller is selling a possibly contaminated product.
